For Doctor B and his anesthesia team, the most important thing is, the patient's psychological condition, anesthesiologist team play a vital role in a patient’s medical care, making decisions to protect and regulate critical life functions throughout the entire surgical experience.
A "sleeping" patient under anaesthesia is probably in the most vulnerable position imaginable. It is normal for one to be anxious when thinking that they cannot be in control of their own body. At this point, anesthesiologist steps in they help you feel minimal pain, discomfort, safe surgical experience and most importantly help you control your anxiety levels and emotions.

You will have the opportunity to discuss your preferences with your anesthesiologist prior to surgery. Regardless of the type, general or local anesthesia, all have their own advantages and disadvantages. Patients preference, state of mind and safety of the patient is most important for Doctor B and his team.
Anesthesiologists are physicians who specialise in the care of surgical patients and pain relief. They administer drugs (anesthetics) that reduce or eliminate the sensation of pain during an operation or other medical procedure. During the procedure, Doctor B and his team work in harmony so that it is comfortable and safe for the patients and they carefully monitor patients throughout surgery and during recovery.
1. Local Anesthesia
Local anesthesia is a type of anesthesia, which is used to prevent pain in a specific area and patient is conscious.
2. Intravenous Sedation
This is a technique whereby a sedating drug is injected directly into a patient's vein. It is designed to help you relax during your treatment, you will remain conscious and you will be able to understand and respond to verbal commands.
3. Regional Anesthesia
Regional anesthesia (also known as nerve blocks or peripheral nerve block) is used to block the sensation in a specific part of your body during and after surgery. The anesthesia may be given around nerves or into veins in your arms, neck, or legs (nerve block or Bier block). Or it may be sent into the spinal fluid (spinal anesthesia) or into the space just outside the spinal fluid (epidural anesthesia).
4. General Anesthesia
General anaesthesia is a state of controlled unconsciousness. During a general anaesthetic, you're unaware of surgery and don't move or feel pain while it's carried out. General anaesthesia is essential for some surgical procedures where it may be safer or more comfortable for you to be unconscious. General anesthesia is administered by injection or through a breathing mask, or sometimes both. In order to control your breathing, patients are intubated, which is the insertion of a flexible tube down the windpipe.
